A Cebu City street musician went viral on Facebook for his majestic playing of the harp.

The post from user Dandee Lequin featured three video clips of the harpist beautifully playing the church song, “Tanging Alay” (Only Sacrifice) and the song “And I Love You So,” by Perry Como. Lequin’s post has garnered more than 11,000 likes and 114,000 shares since it was posted on Monday (June 14).

Lequin captioned his post with “Para akong dinuyan ng musika. (It was like I was swung in the air by music). Salute sa (to the) walk-in musician.”

Commenters were quick to commend the harpists’ skill, with some pointing out that there are very few remaining harp players in the Philippines, while some Pinoys took pride of the street musician's talent.

The harp is a stringed musical instrument with separate strings that are plucked with the fingers. Harps can be built and played in a variety of ways, including sitting or standing as the man in the viral video is seen.
