TALISAY City’s Andrew Kim Remolino and Raven Faith Alcoseba stamped their class in the Go for Gold Sunrise Sprint Race of 5i50 Triathlon at the Bellevue Resort, Panglao, Bohol.

The Southeast Asian (SEA) Games silver medalist Remolino finished the 750-meter swim, 20K bike and 5K run course in 1 hour, 05 minutes and 06 seconds to emerge as the fastest male in the sprint race.

Raven Faith Alcoseba, fresh from a bronze medal finish in her first SEA Games stint, stamped her class in the women’s sprint, finishing in 1:13:28.

The race also had the 5150 Triathlon which covered 1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run. Over 600 athletes graced the triathlon event.

“As we leave behind this time of uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is my hope that the start of the Go for Gold Sunrise Sprint series will symbolize strength and hope – hope for everyone that things will eventually get better and time to draw strength from each other as we heal around the world,” said Go for Gold PH founder Jeremy Go.
