Cedar Creek Fire Grows to Over 24,000 Acres Amid Evacuation Orders

The Cedar Creek fire in Washington state had grown to 24,647 acres as of July 26, with evacuation orders in place across parts of Okanogan County.

This timelapse, posted to Twitter by NWS Spokane, shows smoke rising from the fire. “If you watch closely you can see the firefighting aircraft coming and going”, the tweet states.
