Celebrating everyday moments with IL Corso Lifemalls

·2 min read

IT’S the most wonderful time of the year, and the holiday season is made even more festive by malls decked out in Christmas colors. One of Cebuanos’ favorite hangouts is IL Corso Lifemall, the first mall development of Filinvest in Cebu located by the sea.

Its Christmas tree, adorned with red and gold ornaments and lit up on Nov. 5, 2021, is a reminder that although the pandemic has impacted our lives in more ways than one, there are still everyday moments worth celebrating—from life’s little pleasures and rewards to the value of family and community. Luckily for mallgoers, moments with loved ones can be celebrated safely at IL Corso.

Here’s a list of what you can look forward to at the lifestyle mall:

Renewed Feast

In each of the Lifemalls, the outdoors and the natural environment are the perfect backdrop where families and friends can bond over good food. In IL Corso Cebu in particular, panoramic views of the sea set the tone for even greater things ahead. The Food Yard-North and South showcases the best of Cebuano cuisine through food trucks, stalls and restaurants, and offers a safe outdoor dining experience.

Weekend Market

Not only is it a feast for the palates in IL Corso, as there’s also a Holidaze Pop-Up Weekend Market which features products proudly made by local entrepreneurs—from unique accessories, shoes and apparel to organic skincare, health products, artisanal coffee and quick bites, among others. You can shop local at the bazaar and find items and delectable treats great for gifting. For this weekend market, IL Corso has partnered with City di Mare and Fraction Events and Marketing Arm.

Celebrating Christmas

Moments

The new normal calls for new ways to still enjoy this magical season. With this, IL Corso has more activities planned to make the holidays merrier. The “Christmas Hymns and Holiday Beats” brings together different talents to serenade shoppers with yuletide carols all throughout November and December.

Not forgetting that this is also the season for sharing, IL Corso Lifemalls is also partnering with Everlasting Hope, a non-government organization dedicated to helping children with cancer. Those who wish to support this organization can visit its website at everlastinghope.org or its Facebook page.

In the words of Filinvest Lifemalls senior vice president Joselito Santos, “The pandemic gave us the opportunity to be more relevant with the current needs of our community. Our mall offerings, together with the programs for our shoppers and tenants, help us deliver everyday moments that are safe, rewarding and sustainable.”
