Chinese woman found guilty of trespassing at Mar-a-Lago

The woman arrested earlier this year - for bluffing her way into President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Florida resort - was found guilty on Wednesday of lying to a federal officer and trespassing.

Thirty-three year-old Yujing Zhang had multiple electronic devices on her when she was arrested on Trump’s resort in March - including a thumb drive containing malicious malware.

The incident had sparked concerns she might have been a spy…

But — exactly what Zhang was doing on Trump’s private property remains unclear…

Prosecutors offered no explanation in court for her motives.

In her closing argument, Zhang told Jurors quote ‘I did nothing wrong’ and ‘I did not lie.’

Zhang faces prison time for each count, along with a period of supervised release and potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.

She is expected to be sentenced on November 22.
