Christmas shopping bazaar season in full swing

In the Philippines, the holidays begin in September. Parols are sold by the road, radio stations play Christmas carols, and store displays turn red and green.

By now, early birds have already crossed out the last name on their lists. But last-minute shoppers have nothing to worry about. Bazaars are everywhere, from outdoor tiangges to air-conditioned halls with seemingly endless booths.
