Ciara ‘wants chic wedding dress’

Ciara reportedly doesn't want a “crazy" dress for her wedding.

The 28-year-old singer is engaged to rapper Future and is also currently pregnant with their first child.

Future - real name Nayvadius Cash - popped the question last October.

Ahead of their nuptials Ciara is said to not know which dress to choose for the big day. It has been reported the songstress is deciding between a gown by Emilio Pucci’s artistic director Peter Dundas or one created by Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci.

"In her mind she wants to go very classic, simple and chic," a friend revealed to the New York Post. "She doesn't want overpowered craziness."

In addition to the options above, Ciara is also said to be contemplating a "very American", demure outfit for the wedding. For this look she is said to be interested in Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein or Vera Wang.

Ciara is due to give birth this spring. However, she is reportedly confident she'll have her figure back in time for when she gets married and her honeymoon.

"By summer she'll be bikini-body ready," her friend added.

The blonde beauty recently discussed what she has in mind for her big day. Speaking to People, Ciara revealed what is inspiring her.

"I'm starting to get there [with the dress]. I want elegant and classic to be the theme," she explained. "I don't know exactly what it is yet, but I do want it to be a little vintage-y, like something my mom would have worn, with a modern twist. I have an idea of the feeling I would love. I want to go a little throwback."
