FOUR people, including an employee of Cebu City’s Local School Board, were arrested in a buy-bust conducted in Barangay San Vicente, Liloan town on Thursday dawn, Oct. 15, 2020.
Operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (PIU-CPPO) arrested Hannah Niña dela Cuesta, 35, a Cebu City Hall employee, along with her neighbor Cielo Abella, 31, who was identified as the subject of the operation.
Both Dela Cuesta and Abella are residents of Labangon, Cebu City.
Also arrested during the operation were Chilo Roy Dumaguit, 38, who was recently released from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC), and Abnier Batoctoy, 38.
Dumaguit and Batoctoy are from Barangay Tilhanong, Consolacion.
Lt. Col. Randy Korret, PIU-CPPO chief, told SunStar Cebu that they monitored Abella’s group for three weeks before they conducted the buy-bust.
Korret said they recovered about 25 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P170,000.
Korret said Abella was identified as a high-value drug target as she could sell about 50 grams of shabu in a day.
He said Abella reportedly sourced his illegal drugs from a pusher who is detained at the CPDRC. (GPL / MMC)
