WHILE you can always count on instant coffee for that instant dose of caffeine, it’s hard not to miss the specialty brews from our favorite homegrown coffee shops while in quarantine.

Luckily, products like bottled cold brews are a trend now which means we can have our fix even while we’re cooped up in our homes. Stock up on your favorite coffee from these local businesses and have it delivered right to your doorstep:

Tightrope Coffee | @tightropecoffee

While it is most known for its superb in-store experience and ambiance, SunStar Best of Cebu 2019’s Best Coffee Shop adapted to the new normal by launching its Bottled Series, which consists of three variants: Cold Brew Black, White and Mocha.

Linear Coffee Roasters | @linearcoffeeroasters

Having been included in the SunStar Best of Cebu list for several years now, its most recent title being Best Specialty Coffee, Linear is a household name and for good reason: Passion for coffee and dedication to quality is evident with every sip of its cold brews.

The Neighborhood Cafe | @neighborhoodcafe_cebu

Aside from the classic Plain as White, one can also opt for flavored brews like Caramelight (caramel) and Buttery and Nutty (toffee nut) that would go perfectly with the cafe’s fluffy soufflé pancakes or flaky empanadas.

Stream Coffee | @streamcoffeeph

The Cold Brew is a product of a 12-hour-long process, made with only high quality coffee beans. The Cold White is essentially the Cold Brew mixed with cream and brown sugar for a balanced sweetness.

The Good Cup Coffee Company | @thegoodcupcoffeeco

Packed with nitrogen flushing, the Cold White and Black stay fresh for three weeks up to a month. If you prefer to make your coffee at home, try the new Drip Packs, which come in four variants featuring globally sourced beans.

Third Wave Coffee | @thirdwavecoffeecebu

The bold flavor and rich aroma in the Cold Black is from the Ethiopia Sidamo coffee grounds steeped for 48 hours before being filtered and bottled. If you like your coffee with cream, the Cold White is your best bet.

Brick Lane Doughnuts | @brick.lane.ph

While you’re getting a box of delectable London-style treats, try a bottle or two of the 18-hour Cold Brew and White Brew to go with it—coffee with doughnuts is a timeless combo, after all. At 330mL, Brick Lane’s cold brew is a tad larger than most.

32 Umber Cafe & Co. | @32umber

The cafe’s line-up of brews includes the classic Black, a creamy Dirty White and a rich Mocha. If you prefer tea to coffee though, it also has an Iced Tea Mix. Should you wish to try all four, get the sampler bundle.
