Cokaliong launches pioneering ‘rewards system’ app

COKALIONG Shipping Lines launched a mobile application on March 21. The “Byahe” mobile app features a rewards system that allows both avid passengers and casual travelers to gain points that would equate to certain benefits and rewards.

In the entire maritime industry, Cokaliong Shipping Lines is the first shipping company to launch a rewards system app that guarantees benefits not just to loyal customers but also to those who have yet to do their sojourns with Cokaliong.

Customers have the choice to acquire the app itself or claim the “Byahe” card in its place for customers who do not have any access to smartphones or the internet. The application has three tiers of membership: Green, Gold and Red Platinum. Customers start as Green members, and upon reaching 3,000 nautical miles in their trips, they automatically become Gold members. Once they reach the Gold tier, they are subject to a 20 percent discount on all of their trips, with two free class upgrades. They will also be given personal concierge services.

The Red Platinum membership is acquired automatically after reaching 88,888 nautical miles. In this tier, customers are subject to a 30 percent discount for life. Also, free hot meals and bottled water are offered upon boarding the ship.
