The couple smiled triumphantly to the camera while showing the contribution they made to preserve the forest.

Jose Jr. surprised his wife, Teresa to a tree planting activity in Masungi Georeserve in Rizal to celebrate her 75th birthday last October.

Despite the steep and long travel, they were able to reach the top of the mountain, proving that love can really conquer mountains.

They were able to share their love for each other to the environment by doing their part to save it.

“They celebrated Teresa’s birthday by leaving a lasting legacy. Moments like this show that anyone, no matter what age, can contribute to the movement to restore our forests,” according to the post of Masungi Georeserve.—AAC
