Covid-19 cases in Cebu Island show signs of slowing down

NEW coronavirus infections in Cebu Island appeared to have slowed down in the past seven days, based on data from the local government units' Facebook pages and the Department of Health Central Visayas.

Active cases in Cebu City on August 27 were at 3,383, down by 1,123 of the September 3 cases of 2,260.

Cases in Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue Cities are also down by more than a hundred cases in seven days.

Cases in Cebu Province, especially from the towns declared under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), also went down.
