CT-TODA: 100 motorcycles remain unclaimed

THE City of Talisay-Traffic Operations Development Authority (CT-TODA) headed by Jonathan Tumulak will issue the second notice on Thursday, January 26, 2023, to owners of motorcycles who have not yet claimed their impounded units.

Tumulak said nobody among the 100 motorcycle owners came to their office to claim their vehicles despite receiving the first notice.

The CT-TODA will issue its third and final notice next week before subjecting the motorcycles to an auction.

The motorcycles were impounded for various traffic violations, such as the absence of official receipt (OR) and certificate of registration (CR), expired registration, and drivers driving without a license.

Claimants need to bring their OR/CR (official receipt/certificate of registration) and payment for the storage fee, which costs P100 per day or P36,500 a year. (BBT/TPT)
