THE Cebu Technological University (CTU) will host its first National Conference for the Arts, Sciences and Education (N-Case) in Cebu City on Feb. 19-21, 2020.
The event carries the theme “Accelerating Human Sciences through Research.” It will be at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino in Barangay Lahug.
N-Case is the first major event spearheaded by newly appointed CTU vice president for academic affairs Edwin Pilapil.
Initially planning to accommodate local and regional participants only, Pilapil and N-Case committee members decided to bring the event to the national level as they want diversified inputs from students and academics.
N-Case is open for scholarly presentations from researchers, social thinkers and scientists in the country. The conference will also feature local, national and international guest speakers who tackle issues present in arts, sciences and education.
The conference is in line with the National Higher Education Research Agenda 2019-2020, which aims to strengthen governance for the Philippine higher education. (S)
