It’s still a good idea to stay home as much as possible since Cebu is not 100 percent virus-free yet. As more of us slowly return to work, we have to stay vigilant about staying safe.
Here are a few tips to stay protected if you have to go out due to necessity.
Most of us already have our small bottle of alcohol ready, which is okay for a quick fix. However, I personally still don’t feel very settled until I’ve really been able to wash my hands. For instances when public restrooms are out of soap, I have my own. Human Nature natural hand soap comes in a mess-free pump bottle and is refillable from larger 490ml bottles.
I’ve never been comfortable using public pens because we don’t know where people’s hands have been. I prefer a click pen or twist type when I’m out so I can use it with just one hand, and also don’t have to worry about losing the pen cap and getting ink all over my bag. Bonus: Your pen is very handy for pressing elevator buttons in case you’re going to the office.
You might have noticed some people wearing gadgets around their necks. These portable air purifiers subside air pollutants with negative ions, instead of those pollutants being directly inhaled. I wear my Dr. Kleen Air Buddy every time I go out. This can also be placed in baby cribs or near you as you sleep. It’s lightweight so it doesn’t get in the way, and has an indicator light to let you know when it’s working or when it needs to be recharged.
Place your anti-Covid artillery in a bag that is easy to clean as soon as you get home. A fabric pouch is fine if you prefer to wash it after any exposure to the outside. Any PVC or stiff plastic pouch can be cleaned with Lysol or alcohol when you return home. I also put documents in plastic folders or envelopes and wipe those down as well.
