‘Cut & Style’ back for Sinulog 2020

Patricia May P. Catan

THE annual Cut & Style of Islands Souvenirs is back and pays tribute to Filipino ethnicity. With the theme “Ethnic Hype,” the reputable brand showcases the country’s ethnic pride in arts and culture through fashion. It’s evident in the shirt designs, headdresses and embellishments this year as they highlight authentic Filipino patterns that are both colorful and powerful, honoring our old roots.

Islands Souvenirs’ Cut & Style doesn’t only celebrate Filipino ethnicity through its designs but also recognizes true Cebuano craftsmanship with the help of two talented institutions in the city. This year’s Cut & Style partners with the Fashion Institute of Design and Arts to personally assist customers in the styling department, while the Cebu Technological University students from the Department of Garments are present to help with the cutting and embellishing of Sinulog shirts.

Wear your pride with an ethnic-inspired shirt adorned with embellishments. Score authentic Filipino patterns as you walk the streets of Cebu this Sinulog 2020 through Islands Souvenirs’ annual Cut & Style. You can customize your own Sinulog shirts until the festival day, Jan. 19 in an Islands Souvenirs branch near you.
