IT simply started with a dream. Cinbeth Orellano, with her group—the Knapsack Dancers—never had a permanent place where they could practice. This problem urged Orellano to make a project study last September 2004 which further urged the artistic director to have the group’s dream realized. The movie “Honey” played a part in inspiring the group to open a dance studio of their own, as it mirrored what the group was experiencing back then
The dream finally turned into reality last Sept. 28, when Knapsack Dance Studio soft opened to the public.
