10 Sep – Former Filipino actress Deborah Sun has been nabbed in a buy-bust that was conducted by the Quezon City Police and Philippines Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) recently.

As reported on Rappler, the 60-year-old "Temptation Island" actress, whose real name is Jean Louise Porcuna Salvador, was arrested alongside daughter Angela and two other men, who were identified as Gerald de Guzman and Gonzalo Gonzalez.

The PDEA reported that they found seven pieces of transparent plastic sachets said to contain shabu with an estimated street value of P 6800 as well as a weighing scale among others, inside a condominium in Cubao, Quezon City, where the four suspects were arrested.

It was reported that the unit belonged to de Guzman.

However, Sun and her three companions denied that they were using illegal drugs despite testing positive for drug use.

The four of them will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, particularly Sections 5, 11, and 12.
