Dengue cases rise in Central Visayas

DENGUE cases in the Central Visayas have grown by 29.5 percent in just three weeks as the Department of Health (DOH 7) logged 1,894 cases, including five additional deaths from June 19 to July 9, 2022.

The DOH 7 earlier reported that the region recorded 6,399 dengue cases with 47 deaths from January 1 to June 18 this year.

As of July 9, Central Visayas has a total of 8,293 dengue cases with 52 deaths this year. (MKG)
