MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has reported 17 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infection among overseas Filipino workers (OFW).
This brings the total number of Filipinos abroad infected by COVID-19 to 6,091.
Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries from the disease is now at 2,843 with one new recovery in Asia and the Pacific.
However, six new deaths were recorded in Europe and the Middle East bringing the total number of fatalities to 472.
Those under treatment in different facilities around the world are at 2,776, according to the DFA.
The DFA along with its Foreign Service Posts assures continued service and assistance to Filipinos across the globe.
