Dingdong Dantes to star in remake of Korean movie

14 Mar ā€“ Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes recently revealed that he will be starring in an upcoming action film sometime this year.

As reported on GMA News, the actor, who spoke about his new project at an event recently, shared that the upcoming movie is an adaptation of the South Korean movie, "A Hard Day".

"It's an action, suspense, comedy [film]. It is quite exciting," he said with a smile.

Dantes stated that he will begin filming the movie as soon as wife Marian Rivera gave birth to their second child. The actress is currently in her third trimester, pregnant with the couple's first son.

For the time being, the actor has been reducing his workload to focus on taking care of his wife.

Released in 2014, the original Korean movie "A Hard Day" stars Lee Sun-kyun as a detective who finds himself desperately turning into a criminal following a series of misfortunes.
