Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III confirmed to UNTV News and Rescue yesterday that he is in home quarantine.
This is because he is considered as a close contact of a senior official who has tested positive for COVID-19.
However, the Health Chief clarified that he has no symptoms of coronavirus infection.
He is now working from home and waiting for the result of his swab test which will be released in two to three days.
“I’m okay. Nothing to worry, I’m just following the protocol on quarantine. I have no symptoms, so I am doing work from home and that’s it,” said the DOH Secretary.
Secretary Duque expressed his appreciation to all those who are worried about his condition and sending their well wishes. — with Aiko Miguel
