DOTr Opens PITX Routes to Makati, Manila

In response to the public’s clamor to put up more routes going out from the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) to the business districts of the cities of Makati and Manila, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) launched its ‘Alalay sa PITX’ program recently.

As part of initial rollout of the program, 46 bus units were granted special permits to ply the PITX-Lawton loop, while 25 bus units were given the same to run the PITX-Ayala Makati route.

DOTr Undersecretary for Road Transport and Infrastructure Mark De Leon said the augmentation aims to improve connectivity options between these areas.
