President Rodrigo Duterte treated guests to his singing chops at a dinner he hosted for Cabinet officials, as seen in a video posted on social media.
Duterte croons along to "Ikaw", the song by Regine Velasquez, in the video shared by Prospero de Vera, chairman of the Commission on Higher Education.
The President was accompanied by a live orchestra which was providing musical entertainment for the guests, who applauded Duterte as he completed his performance.
Duterte previously also sang "Ikaw" on Vice Ganda's GGV in 2015.
Acting Palace spokesperson Martin Andanar said the event was a "thanksgiving dinner" hosted by the President for his Cabinet.
The dinner appears to have been held after a Cabinet meeting held at the Aguinaldo State Dining Room in Malacañang Palace on May 30.
This could be Duterte's last meeting with Cabinet officials as he prepares to vacate the Palace to make way for the succeeding president, Ferdinand Marcos Jr. The outgoing president's last day of office is June 30.
