Eagles thrash Barracudas in Elite Basketball Cebu

THE Prime Logistics Movers-Eagles continued their reign atop the standings as they demolished the Barracudas, 133-112, in the Elite Basketball Cebu Season 18 last Saturday at the Casals Gym.
Miguel “The Cebuano Rocket” Gastador had himself quite the evening as he tallied 32 points, 19 rebounds, eight assists, and four steals to propel the Eagles to the easy win.
Janjan Auditor continued his torrid scoring streak, this time producing 25 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, just a week after scoring a whopping 60 markers. Ian Ortega added 21 points, nine boards, and five dimes as the Eagles ended the elimination round with a 10-1 card.
The Barracudas got 29 points and 15 boards from Roger Caytuna. It wasn’t enough to keep them from falling to 3-7 this season.
In the other game, the Sure Cleaning Solutions-Hogs crushed the Raptors, 98-78, to improve to 7-3.
Former University of Southern Philippines Foundation marksman Roy Quiachon found his range early and often as he finished with 28 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and a block to help the Hogs’ bid for a higher seed come the playoffs.
Dyll Roncal added 26 points and 13 boards for the Hogs.
The Raptors, which ended the elims with a 6-5 record, got 14 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists from Victor Rabat.
