‘Eat Bulaga’ Comics Re-Team In New ‘Kilabot’ Film

Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola team up anew in another comedy movie, "D' Kilabots Pogi Brothers... Weh!?" which opens Nov. 28. The movie will premiere on Nov. 27 at SM Megamall, Cinema 9.

In the movie, Justine (Jose Manalo) and Bruno (Wally Bayola) fall in love with the same woman (portrayed by Pokwang), who ends up marrying Bruno. This will make Justine a woman-hater even if a gorgeous balikbayan, portrayed by Solenn Heussaff, falls madly in love with him.

Aside from Jose and Wally, Pokwang and Solenn, the comedy also stars Paolo Ballesteros, Gina Pareño, Jimmy Santos, Tirso Cruz III.

Jose and Wally are overwhelmed by support they get from co-actors and fans. "Natutuwa rin kami dahil pinapasok na ng mga tao ang local movies. Dati rati, 'yung entries sa Metro Manila Film Festival lang ang gustong panoorin ng publiko. Pero sa kaganapang nangyayari sa local movie industry, positibo ang pananaw naming kakagatin muli ng tao ang bago naming movie," said Jose.

The movie is directed by Soxie Topacio, director of award-winning comedy film, "Ded na si Lolo."
