The National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) consisting of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has officially announced the 12 senatorial candidates who won seats in the 19th Congress, in a proclamation ceremony in Pasay City on Wednesday (May 18).

Actor-turned-politician Robin Padilla led the Senate "Magic 12" after garnering 26,612,434 votes based on COMELEC’s official tally.

Of the 12 seats, only one candidate from the opposition made it to the Senate, namely Risa Hontiveros who won over 15,420,807 votes.

Here are the full list of the 12 senators proclaimed:

  2. Loren Legarda – 24,264,969

  3. Raffy Tulfo – 23,396,954

  4. Sherwin Gatchalian – 20,602,655

  5. Francis Escudero – 20,271,458

  6. Mark Villar – 19,475,592

  7. Alan Peter Cayetano – 19,295,314

  8. Juan Miguel Zubiri – 18,734,336

  9. Joel Villanueva – 18,486,034

  10. JV Ejercito – 15,841,858

  11. Risa Hontiveros – 15,420,807

  12. Jinggoy Estrada – 15,108,625

The National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) has released its first partial, official results of the 2022 senatorial elections, based on eight certificates of canvass (COC) from Cordillera Administrative Region and Malabon City updated Tuesday (May 10).

As per the May 10 canvass report released on Wednesday (May 11), these are the leading Senatorial candidates from the said areas:

1. Padilla, Robin – 612,684 votes

2. Tulfo, Raffy – 521,381 votes

3. Legarda, Loren – 492,504 votes

4. Villar, Mark – 427,025 votes

5. Gatchalian, Win – 424,797 votes

6. Escudero, Chiz – 378,428 votes

7. Cayetano, Alan – 369,589 votes

8. Villanueva, Joel – 358,280 votes

9. Estrada, Jinggoy – 336,498 votes

10. Ejercito, JV – 332,936 votes

11. Zubiri, Migz – 319,858 votes

12. Binay, Jojo – 284,124 votes

Meanwhile, in the partial and unofficial results of the 2022 senatorial elections representing 98.26% of the Nationwide Election Returns as of 1:47 PM, May 11, 2022, Robin Padilla leads the senatorial race, with 26,428,433 votes, followed by re-electionist Loren Legarda with 23,970,949 votes.
