British sensation Emma Raducanu said she wants to buy herself a new pair of AirPods after losing hers during the US Open as she also spoke of being congratulated by Buckingham Palace.
The 18-year-old British tennis player swept to victory in the final on Saturday, beating Leylah Fernandez in straight sets 6-3 6-3.
The teenager is the first qualifier to win a grand slam, and her victory comes just three months after she took her A-levels.
It also made her the first British woman to win a grand slam in 44 years.
The teenager also takes away winnings of $2.5m (£1.8m). And speaking to ESPN after the match, she said she wants buy herself new AirPods, which retail at around £110.
She said: "There's a running joke in my team because before my first round qualifying match I lost my AirPods.
"I was basically running around the changing rooms three minutes before my call to go on trying to find it but I lost it.
"I was thinking to myself, you know what, if you win this match you can buy yourself a pair of AirPods and that's become a running joke."

Raducanu also revealed that she was "very honoured" to receive a congratulatory message from the Queen.
She told the BBC: “It meant everything to get a message from Her Majesty. She’s such a great inspiration and role model for the whole country so to have a note from her...
“I was extremely honoured and very very grateful that she took notice of my tennis. I can’t believe it. I’m maybe going to frame that letter or something.”
It comes after Boris Johnson and members of the royal family have led tributes to the "extraordinarily fabulous" teenage tennis champion.
Following her win, Johnson praised her "extraordinary poise and guts".
"What a sensational match! Huge congratulations to Emma Raducanu. You showed extraordinary skill, poise and guts and we are all hugely proud of you."
A tweet from the official account of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge congratulated the teenager and her opponent on their "amazing achievements" at the tournament.
"Huge congratulations Emma Raducanu on your stunning performances and historic Grand Slam victory! Incredible - we are all so proud of you.
"leylahfernandez well done on your amazing achievements at this year's £USOpen, it's been a pleasure to watch. C"
TV presenter Gary Lineker also noted Raducanu's "performance" and "triumph".
"First time in my life I've ever tweeted whilst on air but my goodness what a performance, what a triumph, what an amazing young woman," he said.
