EMMANUEL Villamor waxed hot and fired in a remarkable 65 points in Ronald O’Shoppe’s 107-66 demolition of TayTing’s Pastries in the Metro Cebu Basketball League Season 6 Play-In games last Sunday at the Benedicto College gym.

Villamor, the league’s top scorer, added nine rebounds, and four assists in an impressive display of shotmaking and court wizardry. Rey Gonzaga added 15 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists to help Ronald O’Shoppe stay alive in the tournament.

Meanwhile, in other play-in matches, the Smarties Army routed the Reds, 102-82, as Jhamer Burns sizzled with a double-double performance of 35 points and 10 rebounds.

Wagas Ukeleles dropped the Fine Droplets, 88-82, behind John Pareja’s 20-point, 10-rebound outing.

The CMC Gorillas got past OBEC, 85-75, as Arnel Azarcon fired in 29 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Sikatuna’s Mirror blew out the Cebu Tourista Transport Services, 98-78, as Jeffrey Ardines led a balanced scoring attack with 18 points.

Jade and Jay got past Vanderbilt, 75-68, thanks to MJ Tigmo’s 28 points and eight rebounds.

The Enemiez also trumped Matahom Paradise, 87-70, with Miles Tongco leading the way with 21 points, and eight boards.

Eli Heartfund routed Nikko’s Phenomenal, 95-80, as Esrom Cuizon Jr. had 26 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists.

The Phenom Drakes also slipped by the MTPA Insurance, 100-99, with Bridrik Brigoli finishing with 31 points, 14 boards, and seven assists.
