Emmerdale has released a first-look image of Priya Sharma trapped in a fire, leaving a question mark over whether she will survive the blaze.
Priya, played by Fiona Wade, is one of three women trapped in a maize maze at the nightmarish survival event that has gone horribly wrong for the villagers.
As a vicious fire rips through the maze, which also holds murderer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu), it looks as though time is up for at least one person - but who will it be?
The teaser photo shows a terrified Priya wearing a hoody and calling out desperately for help as a wall of fire looms behind her.
Earlier episodes this week saw Meena follow Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) into the maize maze with the sinister aim of silencing her after she saw killer Meena holding Victoria Sugden's lifeless body under the water.
The many-stranded disaster week had also featured Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) and David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) dropping from a frayed rope bridge between two cliffs into icy waters below.
Victoria then disappeared over a waterfall as she was washed away with the current in front of devastated David, and Andrea later told Meena she'd seen her holding Victoria under the water.
But it seems Andrea is literally playing with fire as Meena tries to stop her deadly secret being exposed, which would also lead to a string of other murders she has committed.
Priya actor Fiona Wade said of filming the stunt: "Filming the fire scenes in the maze was extremely exciting and equally terrifying at moments.
"It's an amazing experience to be a part of such a wonderful week that’s full of so much drama and action. There were moments in the maze where the fire surrounding us was so hot I had to stop a couple of times.
"It's incredibly exciting though to be able to have done a few of our own stunts along with the incredibly brave stunt actors that were with us every step of the way."
She added: "Priya, Andrea and Meena are all in the maze so it’s definitely going to be edge of your seat watching to see who gets out in time!"
