HOUSTON (AP) _ Exterran Corp. (EXTN) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $79.8 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Houston-based company said it had a loss of $2.44. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 45 cents per share.
The provider of services for the oil and natural gas industry posted revenue of $272.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $102.4 million, or $2.99 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $1.32 billion.
Exterran shares have declined 28% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $5.65, a decrease of 69% in the last 12 months.
