JOURNEYMAN Jomar Fajardo steps into the ring for the second time in two months since the resurgence of boxing in Thailand.
Fajardo faces former world champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai on Oct. 3, 2020 at the Workpoint Studio in Bang Phun, Thailand.
Fajardo just came off a second round knockout in the hands of World Boxing Council (WBC) No. 8 super bantamweight Chainoi Worawut last Aug. 1, 2020.
Fajardo has lost back-to-back fights and is 2-4 since moving to Thailand.
Sor Rungvisai, on the other hand, is coming off a huge unanimous decision victory over ex-world titleholder Amnat Ruenroeng on the same Aug. 1 event, where Fajardo fought Worawut.
Sor Rungvusai lost his WBC super flyweight belt on April 26, 2019 after bowing down to Juan Francisco Estrada. Before losing to Estrada, Sor Rungvisai won 20 straight fights including two wins over Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez.
Fajardo is 17-17-2 with nine knockouts, while Sor Rungvisai is 48-5-1 with 41 knockouts. (EKA)
