Fil-Aussie Schleibs set to face Hore in June fight

·1 min read

Fil-Aussie Mark Schleibs takes on Brad Hore in a 10-rounder on June 5, 2021 at the Melbourne Pavilion in Flemington, Victoria, Australia.

Schleibs looks to bounce back in this fight after coming off from his first career defeat on Dec. 11, 2020.

The 27-year-old Schleibs lost to unbeaten prospect Brock Jarvis via a fifth round knockout in Canberra.

Hore should be a good opponent to build Schleibs’ confidence after suffering his

first loss.

Hore is coming off a long layoff and last saw action in 2015.

He lost to unbeaten Rex Tso by a seventh round stoppage in a World Boxing Council (WBC) Asian Boxing Council super flyweight title fight in Hong Kong on Aug. 29, 2015.

Hore also lost to Australia-based Filipino Robert Lerio via a third round knockout in 2013.

Schleibs is 12-1 with eight knockouts, while Hore is 5-2.

Schleibs was born in Manila and moved to Australia when he was four. He has a Filipina mother, who was originally from Tacloban City. (EKA)
