A talented Filipino artist is quickly gaining fame for his unique drawing skills.
Junel Salido, a 20-year old sketch artist from Agusan del Sur, has been featured on several TV programs including Teleradyo’s Lingkod Kapamilya and GTV’s Dapat Alam Mo for his amazing ability to draw several charcoal portraits of different persons all at the same time.
Salido fashioned a make-shift apparatus made with a long stick with several pens attached that allows him to draw simultaneously by just using one hand.
In his most recent endeavor, Salido drew all seven BTS members which took him a grueling seven hours to complete.
(Translation: I'm also one of their fans, so I thought I'd make them fan art too and then I'll make them at the same time. I drew them one by one ma'am. When I shaded half the hair of the first portrait, I was there in the second, until the seventh ma'am. That's how I do it until the end.)
Salido makes his art look easy in the short videos he uploads, but each masterpiece takes lots of practice and hours of hard work to make.
