CEBU-based Filipino Homes has expanded its real estate services in the country by venturing into an online training academy, which will be launched this week.
Endorsed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Filipinohomes Institute of Real Estate is meant to address the skills development requirement of real estate professionals under the new normal landscape.
“Through this institute, members will lead the change in molding the real estate industry through continuous digital learning, and becoming better real estate practitioners,” said Filipino Homes founder and chief executive officer Anthony Gerard Leuterio.
Birth amid crisis
The Filipinohomes Institute of Real Estate will be launched on June 12.
Leuterio said the institute was born in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, when cities across the country shut their borders and compelled people to stay at home.
“We have already anticipated that all comprehensive professional education will be stopped and it will go online. So our company right away, in April 2020, invested to make an online school and hired the best trainors in the country to be our resource speakers,” said Leuterio.
“This is timely, because under the new normal we are already embracing online education, and PRC is backing up this initiative, under its Continuing Professional Development program,” he added.
The institute, Leuterio noted, will keep real estate agents and brokers abreast with the latest information and trends in the real estate industry, especially during these challenging times.
It also aims to reach out to more Filipinos who don’t have access to a lot of real estate knowledge enhancement and skills development programs. / KOC
