A mechanic in the Philippines has turned his science fiction fantasy into reality with a fully working monowheel bike.
Onlooker Ronie Georfo was amazed when he saw the inventor testing his creation in General Santos City on May 14.
Other public utility drivers, mostly customers of the creative mechanic, also watched the first test drive of the unusual vehicle.
Ronie Georfo said that the other drivers call him "Suy-Suy" but he was not able to take his full name because of excitement.
He said: ''It was my first time seeing those kinds of motorcycles. I have only seen it in the movies but I never imagined ever seeing one in the Philippines. Some people watching called it the social distancing motorcycle.''
