THE Cebu-Casino Ethyl Alcohol will be getting some much-needed help down low, as they tapped talented Cebuano forward Zachy Huang to join their roster in time for their crucial home game against the General Santos Warriors in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Lakan Season at the Aznar Coliseum on Saturday, December 21,2019.

Huang’s father, Eden, confirmed the development. Sources from within the team also mentioned that Huang began practicing with the team on Tuesday, December 17.

The development is some sort of homecoming for the 6-foot-4 left-handed forward who started to make a name for himself with the SHS-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles in high school in the Cesafi before he was recruited to join the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers in the UAAP.

Huang recently finished playing for the Growling Tigers who he helped make the UAAP finals this season. However, the team was vanquished by the mighty defending champions Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles.

Huang will be joining a frontcourt that features the likes of William McAloney and Rhaffy Octobre.

Cebu is currently at 9-12 and needs a win to keep their hopes for a spot in the playoffs alive.
