Former Vogue editor André Leon Talley is the new face of UGG

André Leon Talley, the former American Vogue editor-at-large turned fashion icon, is known for his signature oversized caftans, Norma Kamali sleeping bag coats, and of course, his staple UGG boots. So it should come as no surprise that the 72-year-old is fronting UGG’s latest “FEEL” Spring/Summer 2021 campaign.

“UGG is comfort food for my feet,” Talley said in the brand’s press release. “It’s intelligent. It’s comfortable and it’s full of style.”

The campaign features Talley wearing cult-classic UGG styles including the Neumel boot and Tasman slipper.

The team at UGG love Talley just as much as he loves their shoes, making the partnership a natural fit.

“André Leon Talley is an inspiration. His story has been told many times, and rightly so, because his accomplishments are unique and meaningful,” said Andrea O’Donnell, UGG’s President. “Not only did he change the fashion industry and make his mark on modern day culture, but he did so by being unapologetically himself.”
