THE Carcar City Police Station has forged an alliance with 10 fraternities and sororities to help maintain peace and order in the city.

It met with more than 100 members of the Carcar Inter-Fraternity and Sorority Association (Cifsa) at the gym in Barangay Poblacion 3 on Sunday morning, Sept. 4, 2022.

The activity was led by Lieutenant Colonel Ardioleto Cabagnot, chief of the Carcar City Police Station, along with Mayor Patrick Barcenas and leaders of the 10 fraternities and sororities.

Cabagnot told SunStar Cebu their aim was to get Cifsa to cooperate with local police.

He said they also discussed the anti-hazing law during the gathering.

He said the group vowed to support police and the City Government in their war against criminality.

Cabagnot thanked the mayor for the latter’s support.

After the meeting, many members of the Cifsa joined the police-led motorcade.
