Gilas Pilipinas has made its final tough cut in LeBron Lopez ahead of the 2021 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgrade, Serbia.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) named its 12-man roster for the international showpiece, excluding the 18-year-old stalwart Lopez, who, alongside Jaydee Tungcab and Javi Gomez de Liaño, was cut before the Philippine contingent leaves for the Serbian capital.

Headlining the Tab Baldwin-mentored squad are the towering duo of Kai Sotto and Angelo Kouame. Team captain Isaac Go, Mike Nieto, Carl Tamayo, William Navarro, Justine Baltazar, Geo Chiu, Jordan Heading, Dwight Ramos, RJ Abarrientos and SJ Belangel complete the cast.

Gilas Pilipinas leaves for the host country on Thursday (June 24). The team's campaign opens up on July 1 against powerhouse Serbia before taking on Dominican Republic the following day.
