THE Globalport-MisOr won its second game in a row after outlasting Zamboanga Sibugay, 77-69, in the Chooks-to-go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup Mindanao Challenge, 77-69, on Nov. 23 at the Pagadian City Gymnasium.

Globalport-MisOr leaned on their reserves to put the game away with Reil Cervantes, Dahrrel Caranguian, and Brylle Meca scoring 21 of MisOr’s 25 fourth quarter points.

Up by just three late in the game, Cervantes drained back-to-back baskets—the last one a booming trey—that pushed their lead to eight, 73-65, with 2:13 to go.

“It’s really a total team effort,” said Valientes head coach Vis Valencia. “My 12 players, kami lang yata ang 12 and most of the teams have 20, responded well. “I’m happy with the effort. They share the responsibilities.”

Team captain Mac Baracael top scored for MisOr with 14 points and six rebounds, while Cervantes chipped in 13 points and nine rebounds. Meca finished with 12 points, while Caranguian, Joseph Nalos, and Ralph Salcedo got six points apiece.

MisOr hiked its win-loss record to 2-0 while pulling Zamboanga Sibugay down to 0-2.

JC Foronda delivered 12 points for the Anak Mindanao Warriors while Francis Camacho had 11. Shaq Imperial and Jan Jamon tallied 10 points apiece while homegrown Zamboanga Sibugay player Enrique Caunan grabbed 12 rebounds to go with his four points /
