WHY LOCKDOWN WAS EXTENDED

Data from the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) showed that from January 9 to 22, Guadalupe recorded the most number of Covid-19 cases in the city at 50.

On January 24, 2021, Barangay Guadalupe strictly implemented a curfew, stay-at-home order, and "Sunday lockdown" to stop the further transmission of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the said barangay. The "Sunday lockdown" was good for two weeks.

However, data released by the EOC from Jan. 26 to Feb. 8 showed that Guadalupe continued to record the most number of Covid-19 cases at 167 in 14 days.
