Harry Styles has accepted a thrilled Scottish schoolgirl's invitation to make an appearance at her prom.
Glaswegian teen Anna Carty got in touch with Katy J at Capital FM Scotland explaining her struggles finding a date and mentioning her affection for Styles.
In a special message to Anna — reported via Metro — the former One Direction singer vowed to show up at the young fan's prom.
Styles will already be in Scotland ahead of the special occasion as he is due to perform at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow around the weekend of the event.

In his audio message played on air during the Getting Scotland Home show, Styles said that the prom sounded like "a good Scottish party".
The Watermelon Sugar singer added: "I would love to be there, so just send me the details and I’ll see what I can do. So, I’ll see you soon."
Anna was left speechless by Styles's message, as Katy J said: "You heard it from the horse's mouth, I have a feeling that he might rock up at prom."
The 28-year-old star is currently celebrating the enormous success of his new album Harry's House, which broke Taylor Swift's record for first-week vinyl sales.
Styles is currently dominating the UK Singles Chart, with three tracks from Harry's House currently in the top 10 over the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
As It Was is celebrating its ninth consecutive week as number one, with Late Night Talking at number four and Music for a Sushi Restaurant in sixth.
Styles managed to hold the top spot, despite competition from The K***s and their confrontational Jubilee track Prince Andrew is a Sweaty N***e.
The K***s managed 20th place on the chart, despite ranking highly on the list of trending singles in midweek.
