Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away's Colby Thorne and Dean Thompson get a blast from the past next week as newcomer Amber Simmons joins Summer Bay.
Amber, played by Madeleine Jevic, arrives in the Bay after she's hired to be John Palmer's carer in upcoming scenes.
John (Shane Withington) looks for more help after it's clear that his current care arrangement with his wife Marilyn Chambers can't continue.
Sadly, Amber's arrival doesn't start off well, as her brash and forceful attitude irritates John.
When Amber's no-nonsense behaviour quickly pushes John too far, he fires her on the spot. However, much to his dismay, Amber returns the following day as there's nobody else available to be his carer.
John is outraged as Amber effectively un-fires herself, but things go better second time around. Slowly but surely, John starts to warm to Amber's unique style and they progress his rehab in the local gym.
Meanwhile, Amber's past connections to some other Summer Bay residents are revealed when she crosses paths with Dean (Patrick O'Connor) at Salt.
Amber pounces on Dean and propositions him, but he sets some boundaries by revealing that he's now in a happy relationship with Ziggy Astoni.
Dean assures Ziggy that his romantic connection with Amber will be staying firmly in the past, which she tries her best to accept.
Later, Amber also sees Colby (Tim Franklin) at the beach and greets him with a punch.
It transpires that Amber blames Colby for the death of her brother in an accident a few years ago, as he fled from the scene rather than getting help.
Amber confronts Colby for letting her brother die and makes it clear that she'll never forgive him. Could Amber's presence in the Bay cause trouble for Colby?
Home and Away airs these scenes on Thursday, August 20 and Friday, August 21 at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5.
