Honest Policeman

CABANATUAN CITY (PNA) - Some law enforcers are simply incorruptible.

This was proven once more after a 37-year-old woman was hauled to the City Prosecutor's Office here after she allegedly tried to bribe a police officer with P15,000 and a sexual favor in exchange for the freedom of a drug suspect arrested in Barangay Rizdelis, this city, on Saturday.

PO3 Crizaldy Juat, a member of the Community Precinct Action Center (COMPAC) 513 of the Cabanatuan City Police station, reported on Wednesday that charges of violation of Article 212 of the Revised Penal Code or Corruption of Public Official, was filed against the woman identified as only as a certain "Magdalena." The woman's real name was withheld.

The case was docketed under NPS No. iii-05-INQ-13-B-00117 before the City Prosecutor's Office, Juat said.

He said "Magdalena" wanted the release of a certain Allan Bondoc who has been earlier arrested for illegal drugs.
