MANILA, Philippines --- The Novaliches General Hospital, headed by its Medical Director Dr. Ferdinand Tan, an ophthalmologist, is celebrating its 15th Foundation Day on April 6. Highlight of the celebration is a thanksgiving mass at 7 a.m., followed by the blessing of the newly expanded 4th floor, renovated hospital lobby, administrative office, and newly installed elevator.
The hospital is a 100-bed tertiary training hospital, offering new and modern quality care. Affordable flat-rate packages available for indigent patients are normal deliveries with newborn screening and Hepa-B vaccine, cataract operation, hemodialysis, laparoscopic surgery, cleft chin and cleft palate repairs, and colon cancer screening through video colonoscopy. It is the base hospital of the Novagen College of Nursing and Novaliches Eye Center.
Dr. Jocelyn T. Perez, overall chairman of the Foundation Day Celebration, announced that three specialty clinics at 8 a.m.-12nn include Operation Tule, Diabetic and Cataract Screening, Pre-natal and OB Gyne Check-up, Hypertension-Cholesterol Exams, Bone Scanning, Anemia Screening, Pedia, ENT, PT, Derma Consultation, and Dental Check-up. Free medicines will be available for free clinics courtesy of special donors.
