MANILA, Philippines — The House Committee on Higher and Technical Education, as well as Basic Education and Culture, have approved the creation of a technical working group (TWG) that will harmonize bills seeking to provide free education to senior citizens.
The bill seeks to help senior citizens achieve their goals and educational gain that they were not able to attain during their younger years.
The bill provides senior citizens an exemption from paying tuition in any public school in the Philippines. — UNTV News & Rescue
