THE Department of Health (DOH) said it will conduct contact tracing after a staff member at the printing service office of the House of Representatives tested positive for Covid-19.
According to House Secretary-General Luis Montales, the patient has no history of travel out of the country. Neither has the patient made contact with a confirmed case.
“The staff has been in and out of the hospital since last year for various ailments. The staff was recently confined for community-acquired pneumonia-- staff has no history of travel to any country with confirmed Covid-19 case. The staff has also no known history of exposure to a confirmed case of Covid-19.” Montales said.
The contact tracing will be conducted to identify all employees and House members who may have made contact with the patient. (Jove Moya/SunStar Philippines)
