Jade Thirlwall's sweet gift for Perrie and Leigh-Anne after giving birth

Jade Thirlwall has revealed the sweet gift she chose for Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock after her Little Mix bandmates had given birth, and it sounds so lovely.

Appearing on The Strawberry Alarm Clock radio show, Jade said she'd been thinking of a gift to buy for the new mums, but admitted it's taken her "so long" to think of a useful present.

She explained, "You know what it's like - everyone gets them their clothes and all the same stuff, I'm sure they've got everything they could possibly need.”

The Little Mix singer then went on to explain that fellow musician Ed Sheeran, who welcomed a baby of his own in September 2020, gave her some advice on what to buy - and the present sounds really sweet.

Meeting for a drink after watching the Euros 2020, Ed offered Jade tips based on his own experience, after announcing the birth of his daughter Lyra Antarctica last year.

"He was telling me that when he had his baby, everyone always forgets about the mum and that they might need something too," Jade explained.

"I was like, that's really good advice. I think I'm going to get the girls something like an in-house spa day so they get a treat."

How lovely!

Jade also shared an insight into how the two new mums are doing, telling the show's hosts, "They have been saying that they just don't know sleep any more, they don't know sleep exists now - it's just gone!"

Perrie announced her baby news on Instagram on 22 August, writing, "Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21 ♥️," before revealing her baby boy's name: Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Leigh-Anne shared the arrival of her twins the day after, writing on 23 August, "We asked for a miracle, we were given two... 🖤 Our Cubbies are here 😍🖤16/08/21 🖤".

We hope both new mums are doing well!
