Jeane Napoles looking to profit from Ritz Carlton condo sale

Jeane Napoles wants to reel in a profit in the sale of her controversial condominium unit in downtown Los Angeles.

ABC-CBN North American bureau correspondent Steve Angeles said that according to several American realty websites, Jeane's unit at the Ritz Carlton is being sold for $1.475 million, or around P60 million.

The 23-year old daughter of businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles bought the 15 hundred square feet 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit in July 2011 for $1.28 million, public realty records show.

This means Napoles is looking at a $195,000 profit from the sale, or around P8.4 million

Janet Napoles, who is currently detained at Fort Sto. Domingo in Sta. Rosa Laguna, has been tagged as the alleged brains behind the multi-billion peso pork barrel scam, wherein lawmakers’ Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) were funneled to fake NGOs involved in ghost projects purportedly set up by the businesswoman.

There are two other Southern California properties being linked to the Napoleses, but only Jeane's condo is currently up for sale.
